Carly Rae Jepsen 'Worst' First Pitch, Tampa Bay Rays [PHOTOS & VIDEO]: 'Call Me Maybe' Songstress' Embarrassing Baseball Throw, Twitter Reacts

Over the weekend, pop sensation Carly Rae Jepsen took some time off from her busy tour schedule to throw the first pitch at the Tampa Bay Rays home game. The Rays invited the 27-year-old singer to throw out this ceremonial first pitch since she was also part of the franchise's post-game concert series. Unfortunately for Jepsen, she managed to embarrass herself by spiking the baseball to the ground, which then made its way to a photographer, knocking the camera out of his unsuspecting hands. Lester Chambers Attacked on Stage for Trayvon Martin Dedication [PHOTOS & VIDEO]: Soul Singer Assaulted During Curtis Mayfield's 'People Get Ready' Cover

73-year-old soul legend and former frontman of the Civil-Rights-era band The Chambers Brothers, Lester Chambers, dedicated his cover of Curtis Mayfield's "People Get Ready" to Trayvon Martin over the weekend and was assaulted on stage for doing so. The alleged attacker, 43-year-old Dinalynn Andrews Potter, was arrested after the incident and charged on suspicion of battery but has since been released. Radiohead's Thom Yorke Bashes Spotify on Twitter, Withdraws Music: Atoms for Peace & Solo Records Removed from Streaming Service

Thom Yorke and his longtime collaborator and producer, Nigel Godrich, have publicly announced their disdain for the music streaming service Spotify on Twitter and have decided to withdraw some of their work from the service's catalog. Yorke, the lead singer of innovative modern rock n' roll band Radiohead, will pull his solo album, The Eraser, and his latest album with his band Atoms for Peace, AMOK. Godrich, who was heavily involved in these two projects and has removed his band Ultraista from the service as well, has described this stance against Spotify as a "small meaningless rebellion."
