James DeGale has been patiently waiting for the chance to fight Carl Froch, but now that the bout looks unlikely, he's hoping to KO both Marco Antonio Periban and then George Groves, all en route to becoming a world super middleweight champion. If he fails, he will be at least a year away from getting himself back in to world title contention, and luckily we're bringing you a free, live stream of his bout, so check it out. Read More »

Darrelle Revis Vs Calvin Johnson

By kenneth-brown | Nov 21, 2014 04:02 PM EST

This weekend, Darrelle Revis will do his best to stop Calvin Johnson, but even he has admitted that his fellow NFL star is a "man amongst boys." This is a shock to hear, with Revis being one of the most confident men in the league. Revis' New England Patriots welcome the Detroit Lions to their stadium, but that's as far as the pleasantries are likely to go, with both teams desperate for the win, but which man will out-do the other, and which team will come out on top? Khloe Kardashian Using Boxing For Anger Management?

By kenneth-brown | Nov 21, 2014 03:40 PM EST

Are boxing and MMA on the decline? Apparently not. It seems that fighters Floyd Mayweather Jr., Wladimir Klitschko and Jon Jones have made their sports the "in thing" again, and so much so that Vladimir Putin and Khloe Kardashian have taken up the sports. However, one can wonder, with his struggles and her dating issues, could they be using the sport as an anger management tool and stress relief. We're not sure, but these fighting stars have made it cool again, and Khloe certainly needs the help, especially after verbally attacking her mother, Kris Jenner. Read More »

Sneaker Store And Dominating The NFL- Joe Haden

By kenneth-brown | Nov 21, 2014 09:43 AM EST

Joe Haden loves two things: sneakers and stopping wide receivers. So perhaps one should take note when he speaks about either of these things. Firstly, he's announced that on Black Friday he will open a sneaker store. The defensive star is a huge fan of his shoes, having a different pair for almost any occasion, however, opening his store is certainly showing his love for sneakers is greater than we imagined. On top of that, he believes he can be better than Richard Sherman, and that his fellow teammate, WR Josh Gordon, will be back with a bang this weekend. Who are we to argue, especially if we can go and land some snazzy new sneakers? Read More »

Kevin Strootman & Mats Hummels To The Rescue?

By kenneth-brown | Nov 21, 2014 08:31 AM EST

It's fair to say Louis Van Gaal and his Manchester United team hasn't had the best start to their Premier League season, but they're not prepared to sit around and let things fail for much longer. The Red Devils are preparing to sign Kevin Strootman and Mats Hummels in an attempt to address two of their weakest areas on the field. They could then sell Juan Mata and Robin Van Persie. These four transfer deals should provide them with stability and an all-round strong starting eleven. Will they make these deals a reality, or is that easier said than done? Read More »

By kenneth-brown | Nov 20, 2014 07:28 PM EST

On Saturday night, British boxer George Groves will go toe-to-toe with American fighter Denis Douglin, but if he loses, he will lose his shot at Douglin's fellow American, Anthony Dirrell. Groves has been on a mission to become the super middleweight champion of the world, but after twice falling short against Carl Froch, he's confident he can right his wrongs, beating both American fighters, before setting up a HUGE domestic world title bout with fellow Brit James DeGale. Phil Jackson Starts NBA War With LA Lakers & NY Knicks

By kenneth-brown | Nov 20, 2014 04:46 PM EST

The NBA never sleeps, and the drama never stops. Phil Jackson has slammed his former team, the LA Lakers, even though his NY Knicks aren't doing any better so far this season. Nick Young's return from injury has given Kobe Bryant and company a much needed spark, and will Phil and Carmelo Anthony regret their taunts, and starting this feud? Young has compared himself to Prince and Michael Jackson, and if he has a prolonged impact like them, then the Lakers might just have the last laugh, leaving Jackson with egg on his face. Wladimir Klitschko Better Than Muhammad Ali?

By kenneth-brown | Nov 20, 2014 04:28 PM EST

Muhammad Ali is, by many, considered not only the greatest heavyweight to box, but the greatest boxer to ever enter any ring on the entire planet. He's loved so much that his 'I Am Ali' movie is out soon, but could the current world heavyweight champion Wladimir Kltischko be a better fighter, and who would win if the two could fight in their prime? Also, with Wlad heavily pursuing the world title unification now his brother Vitali Klitschko is retired, by grabbing all four belts, one could wonder, will this put him above Ali, or is his legendary status forever untouchable? Freddie Roach Burns Amir Khan's Dreams Of Big 2015 Boxing Bouts

By kenneth-brown | Nov 20, 2014 04:07 PM EST

Amir Khan has rapidly rebuilt his boxing career, but according to his former trainer, Freddie Roach, there's not much point in him fighting his former training partner Manny Pacquiao. Why you ask? Apparently Manny would knock him out with light punches during their sessions. Amir had seen Manny as the alternative if he couldn't bag a bout with Floyd Mayweather, however, Roach has also dismissed that fight, suggesting that there's no way that Floyd would agree to it. A huge war of words has begun, with both Amir and Manny claiming they've got the better of one another "many times." One can wonder, when will this welterweight mess get sorted, and will promoter Bob Arum deliver this fight anyway? Read More »

Josh Gordon to rule the NFL and then be traded?

By kenneth-brown | Nov 20, 2014 02:08 PM EST

Just days ago Mstars shared its view that Ben Tate might not be with the Cleveland Browns for much longer, and within minutes, they released him, leaving him free to join the Minnesota Vikings, replacing Adrian Peterson. On top of that, there's belief that the Browns are entertaining the idea of trading/or releasing Jordan Cameron, Josh Gordon and Johnny Manziel, although it's incredibly unlikely all three will leave. Gordon has just returned to the Browns after his drug suspension, and he's claimed that he will tear the NFL up, telling former teammate Nate Burleson just that, but could he then be traded months later? Tony Bellew To Retire Nathan Cleverly?

By kenneth-brown | Nov 20, 2014 01:12 PM EST

In their first bout, many couldn't separate Nathan Cleverly and Tony Bellew, however, the die hard Everton fan has got his rematch on their "Repeat or Revenge" card and he's not prepared to lose again, with the first bout a questionable decision in Cleverly's favour to say the least. He has insisted that he will beat his rival, that he will force him into retirement, and that he will go on to become the cruiserweight champion of the world. Bellew's words were strong in this week's press conference, and if his punches are just as hard this Saturday, does Cleverly have a chance? Read More »

Kevin Love: I Need To Get Better

By kenneth-brown | Nov 20, 2014 12:51 PM EST

When LeBron James returned to the Cleveland Cavaliers, and they added Kevin Love, many tipped them to dominate the NBA. However, they've had a slow start, showing promise at times, but at other times showing little championship material. Some said that Love wouldn't be able to step his game up and help the Cavaliers, and already some are calling the trade that brought him to Cleveland a failure. Will their big-three NBA experiment be a bust, or can Love get it right? He believes he has what it takes, although he knows he must improve. Read More »

By kenneth-brown | Nov 19, 2014 09:07 PM EST

A few months ago the idea of LeBron James returning to the Cleveland Cavaliers seemed nothing but a fantasy that some fans couldn't let go. However, fast forward a couple of months, and the king is back on the throne he vacated four years ago, however, could he now regret returning? The NBA superstar has admitted that rebuilding this Cavaliers team is his 'biggest challenge', but one can wonder, if things fail to work out, would he be tempted to walk away in the 2015 free agency period, in which he can opt out of his contract?
