Some Kind of Hate is a new movie from first-time director Adam Egypt Mortimer that mixes bullying, resurrection, suicide and revenge all into one gory horror movie. Starring Ronen Rubinstein as a tormented young kid who decides to reach out to a dead girl, Sierra McCormick, resurrects her and then witnesses her seek revenge in what the director calls a "feminist slasher." We recently reported on an actor short list that Marvel has compiled for casting the role of Spider-Man, a.k.a. Peter Parker in the upcoming Cinematic Universe movies including a standalone film, Captain America: Civil War and other Avengers projects. This list included Nat Wolff, Asa Butterfield, Tom Holland, Timothee Chalamet and Liam James, but given Marvel's history of casting leading actors that weren't on original lists (Captain America, Guardians of the Galaxy, etc), we're not too surprised that Disney XD star Billy Unger might be in the running now! While the 2014 blockbuster hit Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles introduced us to new versions of some of our favorite childhood characters, it looks like its upcoming sequel is going to revamp one of the first film's characters! Shredder, the arch-nemesis of the Turtles will return, but this time actor Brian Tee of The Wolverine, Mortal Kombat Legacy and more will wear the sharp armor in 2016! The latest updates for the upcoming sequel to Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles have been casting news, character rumors and some filming photos, but this week held a big reveal by producer Michael Bay. Posting some pictures to Twitter this week, Bay revealed that we can expect some great new vehicles in the upcoming sequel, allegedly titled Half-Shell, which is pretty great considering the filmmaker is responsible for the Transformers movies! Ryan Reynolds and some of the other Deadpool movie cast members have been updating fans on the film's progress ahead of its Feb. 2016 release date on Twitter, but this week we were treated to a great new set photo of Blake Lively's husband fresh from filming! After the release of the playable teaser gameplay demo trailer at 2014's Gamescon, the excitement around the Guillermo del Toro video game with Konami, Silent Hills erupted, with hopes to learn release date news and see more footage of the new title mounting. Set in the Silent Hill universe, this new title was already pretty groundbreaking, in that the first trailer was interactive, but most of the attention was on the game's star, Norman Reedus from AMC's The Walking Dead. New rumors around the cast of the 2016 Gareth Edwards movie Star Wars: Rogue One have popped up, with Netflix's Bloodline star Ben Mendelsohn, Nightcrawler actor Riz Ahmed, and The Hunger Games: Mockingjay hunk Sam Claflin being linked to the film.
