We recently reported on an actor short list that Marvel has compiled for casting the role of Spider-Man, a.k.a. Peter Parker in the upcoming Cinematic Universe movies including a standalone film, Captain America: Civil War and other Avengers projects. This list included Nat Wolff, Asa Butterfield, Tom Holland, Timothee Chalamet and Liam James, but given Marvel's history of casting leading actors that weren't on original lists (Captain America, Guardians of the Galaxy, etc), we're not too surprised that Disney XD star Billy Unger might be in the running now!
