Barneys New York, the luxury specialty retailer, announced recently the 2014 Holiday campaign: BAZ DAZZLED Holiday; a collaboration with world renowned writer/director/producer Baz Luhrmann and his wife, costume designer and collaborator Catherine Martin. Each year, Barneys taps someone famous to collaborate on a campaign and limited edition collection for the holidays. The Baz Dazzled Holiday collection, which follows collabs with Lady Gaga, Disney and Jay Z, hit select Barneys locations and Barneys.com on Thursday Nov. 13. On last night's episode of The Colbert Report, Stephen dedicated the whole show to The Great Gatsby. Turning his show into a book club-type episode, Stephen decided to take on The Great Gatsby. The episode involved interviews with the film's director Baz Luhrmann and Pulitzer Prize-winning author Jennifer Egan. The xx and Sia have released their contributions to the much buzzed about The Great Gatsby soundtrack. The Baz Luhrmann film is getting a lot of press surrounding it's Jay-Z produced soundtrack which will include a cover of Amy Winehouse's "Back to Black" by Beyonce and Andre 3000 as well as new music by acts like Florence + The Machine. Tracks from the album have been steadily rolling out over the last several weeks and today, we have a twofer with The xx dropping "Together" and Sia's deceptively titled "Kill and Run." Read More »
