Forbes magazine has named Johnny Depp the most overpaid actor of 2015. The annual list is designed to justify the salaries of an actor based on how much money their films earn. Ironically in the last year, the Pirates of the Caribbean star appeared in two less than profitable movies: Mortdecai, co-starring Gwyneth Paltrow, grossed only $47.3 million on a $60 million budget, and Transcendence, co-starring Morgan Freeman, grossed only $103 million of its estimated $100 million budget. The crime drama, "Black Mass," starring Johnny Depp has welcomed actor Adam Scott to the cast. The film, directed by Scott Cooper of "Crazy Heart," will follow the story of real-life crime boss, Whitey Bulger (Depp), an Irish mobster and his involvement with not only money laundering and violent crime, but also the involvement he had with 19 murders.
