Want to be the next Rihanna, Nicki Minaj or Miley Cyrus? MAC's looking for six new faces, and it's relying on the Internet to find them! In a new initiative called MACnificent Me, potential campaign stars are asked to submit a few things to MAC's website, including your "Mantra" of 140 characters or less. Contestants are then asked to post their mantra all over social media: Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, etc. Getting lots of shares or likes won't help get you into the top six, MAC says, but "it will definitely help you grab our attention — which is never a bad thing when it comes time to make our final decisions." Lancôme has just unveiled the latest ad to feature actress Lupita Nyong'o. The campaign photo shows the 31-year-old Oscar winner reclining in a sweet magenta halter dress with rose petals in hand. Her lips are a bold shade of red and her skin is glowing, as always. The ad is for the beauty giant's newest collection: L'Absolu Rouge. The line features lipsticks in distinct, rose-inspired shades, along with skin-nourishing foundations. According to E! The 27-year-old, size 10 model was shot by Lachlan Bailey, for the label's "Perfect Fit" underwear campaign alongside a roster of much slimmer models, including Jourdan Dunn and Lara Stone. From sparkles and metallics to feathers and furs, this holiday collection will make all your fashion dreams come true! Topshop just released its holiday campaign starring Cara, which the brand teased earlier this week with a video, just one day after throwing a mind-blowingly star-studded dinner in New York. The collection features sparkly dresses, novelty tights and feather-embellished shoes. Fashionista says Romeo adds charm to Burberry's dreamy holiday campaign. This year's batch of Gap holiday ads start running on Nov. 3. Gap's new campaign, created by Wieden + Kennedy and directed by Sofia Coppola, does not feature your typical traditional holiday commercials. Instead of surprise gifts and choreographed snow-angel sessions, Gap will feature real things that real people do during the holidays, like "going to a bar, getting annoyed by relatives and enduring an off-putting performance by a kid they're apparently related to." Nike has worked with a number of fashion models in its 50-year history, but never on the scale it has worked with Karlie Kloss, who fronts Nike's fall campaign. Nike unveiled its spring/summer 2015 women's collection in New York City Wednesday, Oct. 22, which kicked off with a presentation from Nike CEO Mark Parker and a small runway presentation with more than two dozen of the female athletes Nike sponsors.
