Reports confirm that Chris 'Mac Daddy' Kelly - a founding member of the popular 1990s rap duo Kris Kross - died in Atlanta on Wednesday, May 1. Following the sad, shocking news of 34-year-old Kelly's sudden passing, several fans and fellow members of the music industry reached out to offer their heartfelt sorrows and condolences. The alternative metal rock band Deftones even paid tribute to "Mac Daddy" at a recent concert in St. Louis. Reports confirm that a chaotic drive-by shooting took place on the infamous Las Vegas Strip on Thursday morning (Feb. 21), resulting in a violent crash that ultimately killed three individuals. Among the victims and the alleged gunman target was aspiring rapper Kenny Clutch (real name, Kenneth Cherry Jr.). Authorities claim that Clutch was waiting at a red light in his black Maserati at approximately 4:20 a.m. when a black Range Rover pulled up and someone in the vehicle began erratically firing gunshots. Clutch was hit and in response accelerated into the intersection and slammed into an oncoming taxi. Both vehicles instantly lit up in flames - Clutch, a cab driver named Michael Boldon, and his passenger were killed. Reports confirm that 37-year-old country songstress Mindy McCready was found dead on Sunday (Feb. 17) of an apparent suicide. NBC Dateline reporter Andrea Canning recently tweeted the unfortunate news that McCready "shot and killed herself earlier this evening." The "Ten Thousand Angels" crooner's brother also confirmed the songstress' suicide to the Daily News. McCready's death comes just a month after her boyfriend David Wilson was found dead on his front porch in Arkansas from a gunshot wound to the head.
