There are plenty of reports out there that talk about people seemingly trying to capitalize on the tragedy of the Boston Marathon bombing by selling merchandise to commemorate the event. That is why it is refreshing to hear about the band Dropkick Murphys and how much money they have raised for the victims of the bombing by selling a t-shirt on their website. The shirt is simple enough, reading "For Boston" above a picture of the city and on the back it explains what the money the purchaser just spent on the shirt is going towards. Read More »

As I'm sure you probably noticed, St. Patrick's Day was on Sunday March 17. This is a huge Irish holiday and also a big day for the Irish rock band, the Dropkick Murphys. Well it wasn't all fun and games during the punk rock band's St. Patrick's Day concert at New York City's Terminal 5 in Midtown Manhattan. The lead singer of the group, Ken Casey, actually punched and attacked a skinhead who gave a "seig heil" (Nazi salute) motion on stage. Read More »
