Dancing With the Stars fans were extremely sad when they heard the news that Derek Hough wouldn't be gracing the dance floor come spring. The five-time champ of the series had revealed that he would be taking a leave of absence from the upcoming 20th season to pursue other opportunities. Third time's a charm! Karina Smirnoff is officially engaged to her boyfriend Jason Adelman. The "Dancing with the Stars" pro is ready to become a bride as she has said yes to the proposal. While the dancing pro was also engaged to fellow "DWTS" competitor Maksim Chmerkovskiy in 2009 and professional baseball player Brad Penny in 2011, we have a feeling this engagement will stick. According to Radar Online, the proposal happened over the weekend as Adelman surprised her with the gorgeous ring. "He popped the question on Saturday[, Jan. 10]," the insider told the news site, adding that he did it with a ring that was "just under 5 carats and is an emerald cut." Hollywood Life is reporting that Karina doesn't want to waste any time before making herself Mrs. Adeleman, as she has already started planning the wedding. "Karina wants to get married as soon as possible and definitely wants it to be a big event," a pal told the site. "She already has visions of exactly what she wants." With all this wedding planning, we are wondering if Karina will have time for her dancing duties, as the 20th season of "Dancing with the Stars" is set to kick off early this spring. According to "E! On the heels of judge Len Goodman and professional dancer Cheryl Burke departing the series, it looks like another important member might be bidding ado to the ABC reality competition. Bruno Tonioli, who has been one of the core judges for the program since its inception, is reportedly giving the producers an ultimatum: Either he takes the head judges spot left vacant by Goodman or he's walking. It seems like "Dancing with the Stars" has been a revolving door lately with stars coming and going. After announcements that Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Cheryl Burke were leaving that show, as well as speculations that co-host Erin Andrews won't be back for the new season, it's being reported that the ABC competition series is losing another member. According to "E! News," Len Goodman, who has been one of the main judges with the show since its inception, will be saying bon voyage to the series after the upcoming spring season. Digital Spy was the first to report on the story, saying that Goodman feels that flying back and forth to film the British show "Strictly Come Dancing" and the American version has become too much for him and he needs a little break from it all. "Dancing with the Stars" has just gotten down to the final three, but sadly one of our favorites had to be cut last night, Nov. 24, from the competition in the process. Spoiler alert: Derek Hough and Bethany Mota had to bid ado to the ABC reality series, leaving Alfonso Ribeiro, Sadie Robertson and Janel Parrish to battle it out for the mirror ball trophy. As far as the YouTube celebrity is concerned, Mota says she isn't sad to leave the series because she learned so much from the experience. "E! News" caught up with the reality star after she was voted off the show last night, and she said she isn't sad to be leaving the competition but rather happy that she got to have the experience. "I didn't expect myself to get this far into the competition," Mota explained. She also praises her partner, saying that "to be able to end on that note with a dance I felt so comfortable with, he did an amazing job choreographing it and making sure that it was perfect for me." "Dancing with the Stars" pro Mark Ballas may have a new partner this season in Sadie Robertson, but it looks like his former partner is giving the pair some pretty golden advice. The "Duck Dynasty" star revealed that when it comes to her time on the series, Mark's Season 18 partner Candace Cameron Bure has been kind enough to give the reality star some advice. Ballas and Robertson have been heating up the dance floor on this season of the popular ABC reality competition, and they have even cha-cha'd their way into the semifinals. But when things got difficult for Sadie during last Monday's show, she reached out to Candace to get some advice. The star spoke out to "E! News" explaining that she forgot part of her routine during the live show and that Cameron Bure helped her get through it. "She actually had a lot of blackouts last season where she would forget some of the dance," Robertson told "E! News." "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star Lisa Vanderpump is gearing up for the fifth season premiere of the reality show, but she's offering her support for her fellow Bravolebrity and "Real Housewives of New Jersey" star Teresa Giudice. The "RHONJ" star will spend 15 months away from her kids in the Danbury Correctional Facility in Connecticut, which is what really gets to the "RHOBH" star. "I have a lot of empathy for her situation as regarding her children and the family, because I know she's absolutely a wonderful mother," she told "E! News." "She worships the children, so I do feel sorry for her about that, I really do."
