Dancing with the Stars has just gotten down to the final three, but sadly one of our favorites had to be cut last night, Nov. 24, from the competition in the process. Spoiler alert: Derek Hough and Bethany Mota had to bid ado to the ABC reality series, leaving Alfonso Ribeiro, Sadie Robertson and Janel Parrish to battle it out for the mirror ball trophy. As far as the YouTube celebrity is concerned, Mota says she isn't sad to leave the series because she learned so much from the experience.

E! News caught up with the reality star after she was voted off the show last night, and she said she isn't sad to be leaving the competition but rather happy that she got to have the experience.

"I didn't expect myself to get this far into the competition," Mota explained.

She also praises her partner, saying that "to be able to end on that note with a dance I felt so comfortable with, he did an amazing job choreographing it and making sure that it was perfect for me."

"I had such a good time out there," the YouTube celebrity explained of her two dances last night.

First the star performed a jive to "Shake It Off " by Taylor Swift, earning her and her partner 36 out of 40 points. They then danced to "Revolution" by Diplo featuring Feaustix & Imanos and Kai, which earned them 40/40, a perfect score.

Throughout the whole dance contest, Bethany has always had such a positive outlook, something which her five-time winning partner Derek Hough echoed in his statement.

"She just always — no matter what was going on, or whatever mood I was in, whatever was happening — she always had a smile on her face and a laugh in her voice," Derek explained.

The star also told The Hollywood Reporter how proud of Mota he is: "I'm proud of this young lady right here. She's an amazing role model — so proud."

As for what's next for Bethany, she said that she can't wait to return to her YouTube roots and start making videos again. She's also gearing up to get more involved in the music world.
