Electric Zoo Cancelled 2013: Final Day of Music Festival at NYC's Randalls Island Shut Down After Two Possible Drug-Related Deaths

The Electric Zoo 2013 music festival taking place at Randalls Island in New York City on Labor Day weekend has been cancelled. The music festival was shut down just hours before the third day of performances on Sunday, September 1st. The decision comes after two people died over the first two days. The decision is said to be a mutual decision between the New York City's Mayor’s Office and festival organizers after the two deaths were rumored to be in relation to drug use. Read More »

The ferocious lineup for Electric Zoo 2013 (announced a few months back) already has party animals eager to unleash their rage this labor day weekend, but today EZoo-ers were nearly put over the edge as the official trailer video for New York's Electronic Musical Festival has finally been released...(WATCH below). Celebrating its 5th year anniversary, the three-day EDM festival will take place Labor Day Weekend (August 30th-September 1st) at its usual New York City location, Randall's Island. Zedd 'Moment of Clarity' Tour US DATES Announced: World Tour Tickets for 'Spectrum' DJ Available June 28th

Zedd will be spreading 'clarity' throughout a vast 'spectrum' of locations when the DJ embarks upon his newly announced 'Moment of Clarity' world tour throughout North America, UK, South America, Australia, & Asia beginning this August. While all of the locations for the world tour covering 6 continents in 4 months have not yet been unveiled, the 26 dates for the US & Canada stops have been announced (including Electric Zoo in NYC). The North American leg of the world tour kicks off in Boston on August 28th and concludes on October 3rd in Oregon (see all the US TOUR DATES below). Party animals get ready!! The Phase 2 headliners for 'Electric Zoo 2013' NYC have finally been unleashed, making the lineup for the EDM festival even more ferocious! Along with the recent additions of artists like A-Trak, Baauer, Dog Blood, & Fedde Le Grand to the list of performers at this year's festival, E Zoo has also announced that Friday "Combo Paks" are now being offered for a limited time. Festival-goers now can choose which two days of Labor Day Weekend that they would like to spend at the Zoo (Fri/Sat or Fri/Sun), with the new 2-Day General Admission Pass option. For the dedicated party animals that can handle all three days of madness, ignore the combo pak option.
