By Jaymz Clements | Jan 19, 2015 03:17 PM EST

Gary Kubiak is the new head coach of Peyton Manning's Denver Broncos. The NFL team announced today that the former Houston Texans head coach will take over from the recently departed John Fox, who was fired by Broncos General Manager John Elway after a disappointing first-game playoff exit at the hands of the Indianapolis Colts last week. After leaving the Texans in 2013 — where he finished 61-64 — Kubiak spent last season as the Offensive Coordinator for Joe Flacco and the Baltimore Ravens, and only a week ago was saying that he would stay with the Ravens. JJ Watt, Aaron Rodgers, Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, Richard Sherman: Who'll Be NFL MVP?

By Jaymz Clements | Dec 02, 2014 01:10 PM EST

Could Houston Texan JJ Watt become only the third defensive player to win the NFL's MVP award? That's the chatter around the NFL as the Texans lineman put up another dominant display on the weekend, scoring his fifth touchdown of the year to go with his 11.5 sacks, and prompting the Houston crowd to chant "M-V-P, M-V-P" for the defensive behemoth. The only thing that could realistically stop him? The Texans's 6-6 record which, compared to other MVP frontrunners such as Aaron Rodgers, Peyton Manning, Richard Sherman, DeMarco Murray and Tom Brady, isn't quite good enough to guarantee a winning season, let alone a playoff berth. Either way, during the Houston Texans's 45-21 smackdown of the Tennessee Titans Sunday, Nov. 30, the Texans's fans made their preference clear, chanting out the accolade for the defensive lineman. Sammy Watkins Angry At Rival WR, New York Jets And Cleveland Browns

By Kenneth Brown | Nov 24, 2014 10:42 AM EST

Sammy Watkins was the main WR coming in to the NFL this season, but so far he has been out-performed by rivals Mike Evans and Odell Beckham Jr. Rumors have suggested that he's angry that he's not the main man, that he's angry at their performances and, most of all, still angry that the Cleveland Browns opted not to draft him, turning their attention two first-round players: Justin Gilbert and Johnny Manziel. After yesterday's snow-cancellation, according to ESPN, the Buffalo Bills will play the New York Jets, and an "angry" Watkins is hoping to show the world just how good he is, and then he'll be hoping to make the Browns pay for deciding against picking him. Perhaps it's an attitude problem that's holding him back. Former NFL quarterback David Carr recently said, according to the "Buffalo News," "Sammy, maybe keep your mouth shut next time." Carr was hitting out at comments Watkins had made, and it seems like he can be more bothered about the spotlight, as proven with his touchdown celebration before — and failing — to score a TD in a recent game. Can he put his attitude aside and top his rivals? Read More »

Is Brian Hoyer Leaving The Cleveland Browns?

By Kenneth Brown | Nov 17, 2014 09:53 AM EST

The Cleveland Browns have battled the Brian Hoyer and Johnny Manziel saga for too long, and it seems that they're about ready to make up their minds for good. Hoyer can teat the free agent market in 2015 unless he signs a new contract. But it's believed there are concerns, as he wants big money Mike Pettine and Co. aren't prepared to pay, meaning Manziel will finally get the starting QB job. Rumours emerged yesterday, Nov. 16, that their opponents the Houston Texans and their OC Bill O'Brien, could try and tempt Hoyer to sign with them. The Browns are slowly making their minds up, but it's likely they will see how Josh Gordon performs with Hoyer upon his return next week. Read More »

Did Tom Brady Teach Brian Hoyer Better Than Ryan Mallett?

By Kenneth Brown | Nov 13, 2014 09:59 AM EST

Brian Hoyer spent years trying to dislodge Tom Brady from his starting QB role for the New England Patriots, but he, similarly to Ryan Mallett, both failed to move him from his position. Hoyer is now happy with the Cleveland Browns, beating out Johnny Manziel, and he will now face Mallett, who is with the Houston Texans. Many are labelling this the "Brady Bowl", with fans wondering which back-up QB learned more under his guidance. Hoyer has insisted he respects Mallett, but also said he just wants to be a winner, and a winner with a new mega-contract in the NFL. Read More »
