Wendy Williams Addresses Outraged Aaliyah Fans Comments: TV Show Host Not Sorry For Controversial Biopic

Wendy Williams has finally broken her silence and is addressing the backlash she has been getting from outraged fans and celebrity friends of Aaliyah after a Lifetime biopic premiered Saturday, Nov. 15. After Timbaland and fans across the nation expressed their disgust for the "Aaliyah: The Princess of R&B" film, Williams finally addressed the criticism — and if you think she was going to issue an apology, think again. Williams said: "I see my Aaliyah movie broke the Internet this weekend! Everybody got an opinion. Well, I must tell you, whether you loved or hate, you watched. It was the second-highest rated movie on all of cable this year so far." Ouch! But Williams is right. For the ones who watched the film, Lifetime received some great numbers.
