Wendy Williams has finally broken her silence and is addressing the backlash she has been getting from outraged fans and celebrity friends of Aaliyah after a Lifetime biopic premiered Saturday, Nov. 15.

After Timbaland and fans across the nation expressed their disgust for the Aaliyah: The Princess of R&B film, Williams finally addressed the criticism — and if you think she was going to issue an apology, think again.

Williams said:

"I see my Aaliyah movie broke the Internet this weekend! Everybody got an opinion. Well, I must tell you, whether you loved or hate, you watched. It was the second-highest rated movie on all of cable this year so far."

Ouch!

But Williams is right. For the ones who watched the film, Lifetime received some great numbers. Wendy was a genius with the controversial film that even the late singer's family disapproved of.

As Aaliyah fans sit upset and mad, Williams is smiling, and it's sad to say probably cashing in on the weekend biopic. Aaliyah's biopic will continue to be a trending topic for the week, as fans continue to upload memes and comments via social media.

Williams also claims that her phone settings were changed to Spanish language instead of English, making it hard for her to understand comments regarding the Aaliyah movie.

"My entire phone switched to Spanish," Wendy claims.

Wendy Williams could be lying, because her Twitter and Instagram pages were used during the time of the premiere.

Wendy tweeted, "'Let me know'" is my favorite Aaliyah song!" and asked fans what was their favorite song.

She also revealed that she watched the film as well.

Meanwhile, Williams may have more backlash headed her way for the comments she made regarding Kelly Rowland's newborn son's name.

Willams previously said Titan would probably face some issues ahead with his name, and claims that the barely two-week-old baby could be a "loser."

"Well I hope that the boy can live up to that because I'll tell you what, a 'titan is not short. and he's not scrawny. 'Titan' to me is, even if he's short, he's wide and cut, and you gotta play the game of life like a titan. You can't be a loser. So I hope that he can live up to it," Williams said.

With all the shade Wendy has been throwing, we wonder what she has to say about Beyoncé's little sis Solange Knowles's wedding?
