Manny still looks near his best despite his evident inability to KO opponents in the later stages of his career. Will "Money" Mayweather take on Manny? Manny explained his respect for his opponent, saying to the BBC, "I'm not surprised he kept getting up. That's what he did against Ruslan Provodnikov." When asked about fighting Mayweather, he continued, "I want that fight. The fans deserve that fight." Will the two be able to settle their differences outside the ring so they can sit down and negotiate and then settle it once and for all in the ring? Read More »

Amir Khan has rapidly rebuilt his boxing career, but according to his former trainer, Freddie Roach, there's not much point in him fighting his former training partner Manny Pacquiao. Why you ask? Apparently Manny would knock him out with light punches during their sessions. Amir had seen Manny as the alternative if he couldn't bag a bout with Floyd Mayweather, however, Roach has also dismissed that fight, suggesting that there's no way that Floyd would agree to it. A huge war of words has begun, with both Amir and Manny claiming they've got the better of one another "many times." One can wonder, when will this welterweight mess get sorted, and will promoter Bob Arum deliver this fight anyway? Read More »

By Kenneth Brown | Oct 22, 2014 09:16 AM EDT

Some people think baseball is boring, and it seems world boxing champion Floyd Mayweather is one of those select few. The betting man bets on everything, but not baseball it'd seem. He's willing to bet anywhere from thousands to $1 million per game in other sports, but reports suggest he has "no interest" in betting on the MLB World Series between the Kansas City Royals and the San Francisco Giants.
