Though we're sure you're a little oversaturated with different versions of the iconic detective Sherlock Holmes (BBC's Sherlock, CBS's Elementary, and Guy Ritchie's Sherlock Holmes film franchise), we think that the newest incarnation of the literary character could be the best. Hitting theaters on July 17, 2015, Mr. Holmes takes place at the end of the detective's life, with Sir Ian McKellan playing a more "true to life" version of the character, based on the novel A Slight Trick of the Mind by Mitch Cullin.
