It hasn’t happened yet, but Sony has certainly threatened Twitter after some hack-related tweets have come out following word (and visuals) of that famed hacking job, which is reportedly from our friends over at North Korea. The hack job leaked a number of emails that took place within the industry, specifically ones between producer Scott Rudin and Sony’s Amy Pascal about Angelina Jolie as well as a number of others. If there’s one guy who isn’t too upset over Sony pulling Seth Rogen and James Franco’s film The Interview its comedian Chris Rock. Reason being? His new movie Top Five now has a chance to cash in some serious bank! Rock stopped by The Daily Show with Jon Stewart last night to promote the film. During his interview, the two joked about the whole North Korea-Sony Pictures email hacking thing. You know, the whole reason The Interview was pulled from theaters. Sony has pulled the plug on The Interview, the controversial new comedy starring James Franco and Seth Rogen about a tongue-in-cheek assassination attempt on North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un. In the weeks leading up to this recently cancelled release date, Sony suffered a company-wide email hack, resulting in leaked information about upcoming films and damning evidence against executives about how they talk about some of the biggest stars in the world. The hackers also sent out a warning to those planning on seeing the film that a terrorist attack of the likes of 9/11/2001 would take place at the theaters showing the movie. The latest batch of hacked Sony emails have been leaked, and with them comes a dire warning, saying that "The world will be full of fear. Remember the 11th of September 2001."
