The latest batch of hacked Sony emails have been leaked, and with them comes a dire warning, saying that "The world will be full of fear. Remember the 11th of September 2001." The hacked emails have leaked in response to the James Franco and Seth Rogen comedy The Interview, which depicts Franco and Rogen tasked with trying to assassinate the leader of North Korea. The hacking group 'Guardians Of Peace' have released sensitive information concerning Angelina Jolie, George Clooney, Kevin Hart, Aaron Sorkin, Jennifer Lawrence, Ryan Gosling, Channing Tatum and many other big Hollywood names in emails from Sony executives.

According to The Daily Beast, in the ninth batch of leaks — which reportedly concern Sony Entertainment CEO Michael Lynton's emails — the 'Guardians of Peace' issued an ominous warning, saying:

"We will clearly show it to you at the very time and places 'The Interview' be shown, including the premiere, how bitter fate those who seek fun in terror should be doomed to. Soon all the world will see what an awful movie Sony Pictures Entertainment has made. The world will be full of fear. Remember the 11th of September 2001. We recommend you to keep yourself distant from the places at that time. (If your house is nearby, you'd better leave.)"

"Whatever comes in the coming days is called by the greed of Sony Pictures Entertainment. All the world will denounce the SONY."

As The Daily Beast point out, the idea of what premiere the hackers are alluding to, because "the official premiere of the film took place two days ago in Los Angeles."

The New York Post report that plans for the NYC premiere of The Interview at the Sunshine Cinema in the Lower East Side of Manhattan has been "scaled down", with pre-drinks taking the place of a full-blown after party. Page Six report that the stars expected to attend "include 50 Cent, Marina Abramovic, Taran Killam, Jemima Kirke and Judah Friedlander."

The Huffington Post also report that Franco and Rogen "cancelled press appearances intended to promote the film at least through Thursday," with Mashable reporting that a rep told them that the beyond Tuesday and Wednesday was up in the air.

Executive editor of The Hollywood Reporter, Matthew Beloni tweeted out a source telling him: "No publicly traded theater chain can responsibly play The Interview now. Which will be the first to pull it?"

What do you think? How seriously will these threats be taken?
