Following word that comedian Ricky Gervais and actor Eric Bana were teaming up for a comedy film title Special Correspondents, it's now being reported that the film will be picked up by the fine folks over at Netflix. The online streaming service is of course no stranger to Gervais, as they are the home for his latest series Derek, which aired its finale special back in Dec. 2014. The Hollywood Reporter notes that Special Correspondents will premiere sometime next year on Netflix. It looks as if the famed French comedy Envoyes tres speciaux could be getting a reboot! Ricky Gervais and Eric Bana are rumored to star in the satirical comedy, now titled Special Correspondents, with the former sitting in the director’s chair as well, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
