'The Best Man Holiday' Getting a Sequel

After performing exceptionally well at the box office during its opening weekend, The Best Man Holiday is slated to get a sequel. Universal has decided to turn this Best Man franchise into a trilogy after the film's premiere weekend brought in an incredible haul of $30 million against the $17 million it took to make the film. It's rare that there are any big surprises when the box office results come out every weekend. Now a days the entertainment industry is very good at forecasting how various movies will do at the box office before the movies even come out. However, once in a while you get a box office surprise, which may be what you could call "The Best Man Holiday." The movie is the first big holiday movie of the season and has garnered quite a bit of press, but I don't think anyone expected it to do as well as it's projected from early box office results. 'The Best Man Holiday' Tops The Box Office
