Angie Martinez Joins Roc Nation

Angie Martinez has made yet another power move in her legendary career. "The Voice of New York" radio host announced that she's now part of longtime friend Jay-Z's Roc Nation management lineup. Martinez joined the team Tuesday, Nov. 4, which can be seen on the company's website. Roc Nation also announced the big news via Twitter: Roc Nation welcomes multimedia personality @AngieMartinez to the Roc Nation family! pic.twitter.com/ukrOQEKgC6 — Roc Nation (@RocNation) November 4, 2014 According to "Vibe," this news follows the veteran radio host's switch from her 20-year home at Hot 97 to its rival radio station Power 105.1 in June. Converse Sues 31 Knock-Off Competitors To Protect Its Chuck Taylor All-Stars

Shoemaker Converse said Tuesday, Oct. 14, that it has filed a trademark infringement lawsuit against 31 retailers and manufacturers, including Walmart, Kmart, Skechers and H&M, accusing them of ripping off the design of its sneakers, according to a press release. Converse says it's fed up with rival shoe companies selling what the Nike-owned company calls clear knock-offs of its Chuck Taylor All-Star sneakers. Jimmy Choo Becomes First Luxury Shoe Brand To Go Public
