Tupac Shakur died on September 13, 1996, just a few days after being shot at a boxing event in Las Vegas, Nevada. He rose to fame as a celebrated rapper and a riveting actor, but his life was cut short at the young age of 25 years old. His legacy lives on through his music and he was a main influence on countless rappers that have come up since his passing. A lot of controversy surrounds his death and he has even managed to resurface for performances in recent years as a hologram. The latest way for fans to relive the talents of Shakur is through a new musical that is in development and that hopes to make it to Broadway.
