If you're one of the many, many viewers of NBC's Today then you probably know exactly what Jon Stewart is talking about in the below video. The Daily Show host recently slammed the "news" program for kicking off a recent episode by showing viewers the horrific murder of South Carolina Resident Walter Scott, who was gunned down by Officer Michael Slager in footage released last week by the New York Times, right as the show kicked off. Of course, the center of Stewart's slam was the fact that 24-hour news outlets are showing these murder videos on a non-stop loop, which takes away from the impact they actually make on society. After the unfortunate and horrific murder of South Carolina resident Walter Scott at the hands of Officer Michael Slager – which was caught on video by Feidin Santana – it's being reported that Scott was laid to rest and buried this weekend.
