Former 'Scandal' Star Columbus Short Secretly Weds Karrine Steffans "Superhead"

Former Scandal actor Columbus Short secretly married former video vixen Karrine Steffans, who has been nicknamed "Superhead" by men in the rap community, in October. Steffans dropped hints on Instagram before confirming they had married.

Steffans revealed on Instagram.com that they had already held their wedding, after a follower warned her to "be careful" of jumping into a relationship.

The follower may have been referring to Short's past arrests, some of which were for domestic violence. 

Steffans went off on the woman that made the comment, revealing Short was her husband in a post TheShadeRoom posted on Instagram.

Steffans is known for her hook-ups with Lil Wayne, telling VladTV that she would never stop seeing the rapper for anyone. This interview was in April 2015.

Steffans has reportedly been around and is an author of Confessions of a Video Vixen, where she spills the dirty details on many hip-hop stars.

BET.com reports Short and Steffans married in October 2015.

This makes the third time down the aisle for Short, who was married to Brandi Short until 2003. He then wed Tanee McCall, but they split in 2013 after eight years of marriage.

McCall filed for divorce after claiming that Short held a knife to her throat in April 2014, after coming home drunk.

He accused her of cheating and threatened to stab her in the leg if she lied. Short then reportedly threatened to kill her and himself.

This is the second marriage for Steffans, who was married to former Family Matters actor, Darius McCrary for three years until 2011.

Steffans claimed that McCrary choked her with a belt from behind and beat her in front of her 12-year-old son in February 2010.

McCrary talked to HipHollywood.com about Steffans in 2011.

In March 2015, Steffans admitted lying under oath about seeing McCrary beating his son with a spoon. 

Steffans responded to the negative comments about her marriage to Short with a Kermit post on Instagram.
