'Airlift' Star Akshay Kumar Celebrates Wedding Anniversary with Twinkle Khanna

Bollywood star Akshay Kumar, who is soon going to be seen in Airlift, celebrated his 15th wedding anniversary with former actress Twinkle Khanna with a small get together of family and friends at their residence in Mumbai.

Spotboye reported that Kumar and his wife hosted a party at their house in Mumbai, which was attended by Bollywood celebrities like Karan Johar, Sonali Bendre, Riteish Deshmukh, Genelia D'Souza, Abhishek Bachchan and many more. At the same time, this Bollywood couple also shared their moments with their thousands of fans on social media.

Kumar took to Twitter and wished his wife a Happy Anniversary by sharing a personal picture of him with Khanna. In the posted photo, Kumar is looking at Khanna while she is engaged in some conversation with someone else.

On the other hand, Khanna, who is famous for her funny wits, also showed her love for Kumar on Twitter. The actress posted a series of posts:

According to Hindustan Times, Kumar married Khanna on Jan. 17, 2001, and the couple have two children, Aarav and Nitara.

In other news, the makers of the Airlift recently released the official trailer for the film, which is based on the true incident of India's biggest human evacuation mission from Kuwait during the 1990 Gulf War. In the film, Kumar is seen playing the role of a powerful Indian businessman, who has established his business in Kuwait along with his wife (played by Nimrat Kaur). Directed by Raja Krishna Menon and produced by T-Series and Kumar's Hari Om Entertainment, Airlift is slated to release on Jan. 22, 2016.
