Former Supermodel Stephanie Seymour Arrested for DUI After Backing Into Another Vehicle

Model Stephanie Seymour was arrested for DUI on Friday evening by Connecticut State Police after allegedly driving drunk and backing into another vehicle at a stop sign. The model, who starred in Guns N' Roses' "November Rain" music video, reportedly smelled of alcohol and refused sobriety tests.

The 47-year-old former Victoria’s Secret model was driving her 2015 Range Rover at around 9:25 p.m. on Friday night when she was at a stop sign on an exit ramp. Seymour reportedly backed into the car behind her. There were no injuries reported in the accident.

The officer smelled a "strong odor" of alcohol from Seymour's mouth as she answered his questions.

The report stated, "After six or seven requests for her license, registration and insurance, she finally was able to fumble through her purse, as she handed over her Connecticut driver's license, along with a credit card."

Seymour reportedly had bloodshot eyes and was "unsteady on her feet."

The trooper tried to conduct field sobriety tests on the model, but she refused to cooperate and was arrested. She was charged with "driving under the influence" and "unsafe backing."

The model has appeared in Sports Illustrated swimsuit editions and as a model for Victoria's Secret. She graced many magazine covers in the 80s and 90s.

Seymour and Interview magazine mogul Peter Brant started a nasty divorce battle in 2009, with Brant claiming she was an unfit mother for their three children.

Brant accused her of giving fake urine samples to prove she was not on drugs or alcohol during the divorce proceedings. Seymour claimed Brant was controlling and accused him of cheating on her with prostitutes. The couple shocked everyone when they reconciled and called off the expensive divorce.

The model also dated Guns N’ Roses singer Axl Rose, starring in the band’s video for the song "November Rain."
