Kabir Bedi Married at 70; Daughter Pooja Bedi Calls Her New Step-Mom "Wicked Witch"

Bollywood actor Kabir Bedi recently tied the knot with his long-time girlfriend, Parveen Dusanj. The 70-year-old actor's daughter, Pooja Bedi, is apparently not happy with this union and called her new step mom a "wicked witch" via her Twitter handle.

Pooja took to Twitter to show her discomfort for her father's marriage with Parveen. Pooja tweeted: "Every fairy tale has a wicked witch or an evil step-mother! Mine just arrived! @iKabirBedi just married @parveendusanj, (sic)."

According to NDTV Movies, Pooja later deleted this tweet and made a new tweet saying in which she asked everyone to stay calm and relaxed during this new change in her life, but till that the damage was already done.

When Kabir found about his daughter's tweet, even he came to Twitter to show his concern. The actor tweeted that he never expected this kind of behaviour from his eldest daugter. Kabir's tweet read:

DEEPLY DISAPPOINTED by venomous comments by my daughter Pooja against @parveendusanj just after we married. NO excuse for bad behaviour. — KABIR BEDI (@iKabirBedi) January 18, 2016

When fans of Pooja started to support her tweet, Parveen tweeted that she had been with Kabir for more than 10 years and still Kabir's daughter called their union an act of atrocity.

According to IBN Live, Kabir and Parveen have known each other for more than 10 years and got married at his 70th birthday party in a surprise ceremony. The wedding was held at Alibaug and was attended by few close friends and family members.

Kabir has been married four times and had three children from all of his marriages till this date. He was married to Protima Bedi, an Odissa dancer. As the actor's marriage with Protima began to break apart, he started dating celebrated Bollywood actress, Parveen Babi. He later married British-born fashion designer Susan Humpreys but even divorced her in a few years. According to Times of India, after divorcing Susan, Kabir married TV and radio presented Nikki Bedi in 1990s and soon after that he got into relationship with British born Parveen Dusanj.
