'Piku' Actress Deepika Padukone: “I’m Just A Normal Girl" [VIDEO]

Bollywood beauty, Deepika Padukone has already established her name by a splendid performance in Piku and now the Indian actress is going to make her Hollywood debut with Vin Diesel. Padukone has everything a successful actress can ask for but she says that the fame hasn't changed the normal girl in her because she tries to choose a life free of complications.

Padukone started her Bollywood career by staring in Om Shanti Om with Shah Rukh Khan and after that the actress never looked back. Over a decade-long career as an actress, Padukone has worked in acclaimed films such as Love Aaj Kal, Cocktail, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, Chennai Express, Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela and others. With a career this successful, she has always tried to avoid complicating her personal life. At a recent press event, she was quoted by Indian Express as stating:

"I'm just a normal girl... nothing has changed for me. I can still go out freely. I believe your life changes in a way that you want it to be. I don't think my life has changed in a drastic way."

Padukone, who used to be a professional badminton player before stepping into film industry, also saying that she never misses anything about her past as she always tries to be that person she was before her film career started.

"I don't miss anything about my past. I choose to keep doing things that are meaningful and special to me. I choose to live a life that is not complicated. Sometimes we unnecessarily complicate our own lives, but I choose not to live like that," Padukone further added.

The actress, who is rumored to be dating her Bajirao Mastani co-star Ranveer Singh, will soon be share with Diesel for her first international project, XXX: The Return of Xander Cage.
