The new issue of Empire magazine is simply filled with exciting new details about Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and all the new information isn't just about the Bat from Gotham or the Man of Steel. There are also some interesting updates about Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman, and the actress has revealed that Diana Prince's alter ego actually has a naughty side!

Director Zack Snyder has confirmed with Empire (via MovieWeb) that by the time Batman decides to take on Superman, Wonder Woman is already a veteran warrior who has seen a lot of years on the battlefield. And we're not talking decades, or even centuries. It turns out that the Amazonian princess is already 5,000 years old and has decided to retire from being a superhero, although she does return into action in the film.

But what made Wonder Woman decide to give up on being a superhero? Gadot says, "Because she's seen it all, she has seen what humans can do, so it was very hard for her to come back and fight. They have the same attitude."

Gadot also revealed that there is a slight difference between Wonder Woman and her alter ego.

"Although when she is Diana she tries to blend in, she is not too outgoing," she said, adding that the DC heroine isn't just all about beating the bad guys.

"I don't want people to think she is perfect. She can be naughty," Gadot said.

So far, the naughtiest thing we've seen Wonder Woman do is crashing the Batman v Superman v Doomsday party in the BvS trailer. However, there is a huge possibility that Diana could bring out a smile from the perpetually scowling Ben Affleck's Bruce Wayne, as suggested in a previously released photo from the film.

Gadot will also star as Diana in the highly anticipated Wonder Woman movie, which is scheduled for release on June 23, 2017.
