Fox's 'Lucifer' Episode 1 Pilot: Tom Ellis, Lauren German Premiere Recap!

Fox airs the highly anticipated premiere of Lucifer, based on the DC Comics title.. In episode 1, the pilot, audiences discover Lucifer Morningstar (Tom Ellis) teaming up with Detective Chloe Dancer (Lauren German) to solve a heinous murder.

Now living in the city of Angels, Lucifer Morningstar is on his way to his night club. At the club, Lucifer first around with Maze (Leslie Ann-Brandt) and all of a sudden, finds himself needing help from someone he once knew intimately, Delilah (AnnaLynne McCord). Just as she is asking for help, Delilah and Lucifer find themselves under intense gunfire..

After witnessing the death pf Delilah, Lucifer chases after her shooter, who crashes his getaway car. Lucifer uses his powers to make the shooter suffer but can't get anything out of him. The death of Delilah brings about the attention of Chloe Dancer (Lauren German) and the Archangel Amenadiel (D.B. Woodside), who wants to bring Lucifer to go back to Hell.

Chloe starts to get annoyed by Lucifer, claiming he knows her from somewhere. The two end up at the mansion of a rapper/gangster. At that point, Lucifer and the rest of the crew recognize Chloe from her softcore movie, where she posed topless. As Lucifer uses his powers, they get a name from the rapper/gagster.

Lucifer ends up crashing a wedding to track down a lead. The groom happens to be a music producer and someone Delilah slept with. As Lucifer uses his power, the bride reveals she's not in love and is repulsed by the groom. Lucifer and Chloe leave as the bride says this is all a sham marriage.

Later, Lucifer meets Chloe's daughter, who's in trouble at school. Chloe's daughter had a fight with her bully. After having fun with the daughter, Lucifer puts the fear of God in the school bully. He later learns Chloe is divorced but she tries to be nice with the ex for her daughter's sake.

Lucifer ends up at movie set, seeking out one of Delilah's lovers. It turns out the actor was having an affair with Delilah, and the wife already knew about it. As the actor and his wife argue over their cheating ways, Lucifer and Chloe hit up the therapist that Delilah was secretly seeing.

As the talk with the therapist turns sexual, Lucifer gets a name from her. The two end up at the studio with music producer. Just when the music producer confesses, he pulls out his gun and starts shooting. Chloe ends up getting shoot during the hail of bullets.

Just before Chloe passes out, Lucifer makes the music producer feel the pain and turns him crazy. Back the hospital, Chloe wakes up, wondering why Lucifer didn't get shot as well. Lucifer walks away as the daughter shows up and hugs her mother.

Back at the bar, Lucifer meets with Amenadiel and refuses his offer once more. Lucifer is staying in the city of Angels, right where he belongs.
