In the last scene of Season 5 of Game of Thrones, one of the most popular characters of HBO's epic fantasy show, Jon Snow, was stabbed numerous times into what seemed to be his death in a coup at the Night's Watch. Now, months ahead of the Season 6 premiere, actor Kit Harington tries to settle everyone's question, once and for all: Is Ned Stark's bastard dead or alive?

Harington spoke to Digital Spy recently, as he prepares for a major theater comeback in a London stage production of Doctor Faustus, and he spoke about his fascination with how people follow the show and its characters. Of course, he dealt with the very elusive question: Is Jon Snow dead or alive?

"People didn't want me to die, but he's dead. So there you go, everyone has to get used to it," Harington said curtly, probably breaking millions of hearts.

The ending of last season saw the series catch up with their source material, namely George R. R. Martin's series of A Song of Ice and Fire novels, so fans have really no idea what happens to Harington's character from this point on, though there are numerous theories about him surviving.

Harington also revealed he hasn't done any shooting for the HBO show "in a while," and that he's actually been avoiding doing press for his most recent projects because of how bad questioning about the show had gotten. These days, he's preparing to come back to the theater and "taking it easy" as well as "relaxing."

According to Yahoo! News, though, the theories about his comeback rage on, and his co-star and on-screen sister Maisie Williams (who plays Arya Stark) has teased that there might be a "twist" about his character. While there has been a heavy campaign regarding the character's death, many still believe he could be revived or come back in some other form.
