‘Raees’ Movie: Nawazuddin Siddiqui to Become Michael Jackson in Shah Rukh Khan Film

Nawazuddin Siddiqui is one of those Bollywood actors who had won the hearts and applause by his splendid performance in films like Manjhi, Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Kick. The recent buzz is that Siddhiqui, who is currently shooting for Shah Rukh Khan's upcoming film Raees, will play the character of Michael Jackson in one of the film's sequence.

In the upcoming film, Siddiqui plays the role of a cop who wants to get Khan's character, who is shown as a smuggler who imports liquor in Gujarat, an Indian state where liquor is completely banned. According to Bollywood Life, in one of the chasing sequence, Siddiqui will turn into King of Pop to raid a hideout of Khan's character. The scene, which is a costume party, where Siddiqui will enter in Jackson's look.

The report also suggests that, Siddiqui is not only going to wear costumes like Jackson, but is also preparing to show some of Jackson's dance moves in a song.

Raees is directed by Rahul Dholakia, who earlier directed films like Parzania and Mumbai Cutting. The film is being produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani's Excel Entertainment.

The film also features a newcomer Mahira Khan. It was reported by DNA India, the lead actress role was first offered to Huma Qureshi. But Dholakia wanted a new face for the lead actress' role. The report further added:

"The role required a certain kind of mannerism and gesture which came at ease with Mahira and thus she was picked over Huma Qureshi. Also, being a Pakistani helped her a lot in what was needed for the role."

It was earlier reported by Mstars News that there were chances that Raees will clash at box-office with Salman Khan's upcoming Sultan. However, Dilwale star, Shah Rukh is trying to choose a different date for his film's release.
