It is always exciting when there are new updates on Rogue One: A Star Wars Story since not much is known about the standalone film starring Felicity Jones. Just a few days after the character costumes were revealed at the Nuremberg Toy Fair, there are some whispers that the image of a LEGO toy may have confirmed the appearance of Boba Fett in the movie!

Well, maybe not Boba himself, but one thing that is immediately associated with him. According to ComicBook.com, the LEGO Star Wars sets included The Force Awakens toys (which has a Kylo Ren with his own crossguard lightsaber), a Rebels set as well as toys for Rogue One. Interestingly, the promotional image for the Rogue One toys showed a spaceship that looks a lot like Boba's Slave I.

If the Rogue One LEGO sets includes Slave I, it would be hard to deny that Boba is a part of the film, especially since he is the ship's only pilot after the death of his father Jango Fett. Although it is easy to argue that the Slave I might appear on its own, it isn't hard to imagine that Boba could show up to claim his ship.

This isn't the first time that Boba has been associated with Rogue One. There have been speculations that Jones' character is actually his daughter, although the theory doesn't make sense with the film's timeline (Jones' character looks like she's just a few years younger than Boba when he appeared in The Empire Strikes Back). Nevertheless, fans keep hoping that the Mandalorian bounty hunter will make an appearance in Rogue One.

Boba is undoubtedly one of the most popular Star Wars characters, and was initially meant to have his own standalone film. However, Lucasfilm has since announced that it will be Han Solo, who will star in his own film after Rogue One.

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story will premiere December 16.
