Playing Batman is undoubtedly one of every actor's dream role, but there is one star who would rather forget about the time that he once played Bruce Wayne. George Clooney had famously played the Caped Crusader in the 1997 flick Batman and Robin, and he simply cannot stop poking fun at his own portrayal whenever he can!

Clooney was recently a guest on The Ellen Show, where he revealed that he spent most of his time in his Roman costume while he was filming Hail, Caesar! on Hollywood lots. The actor further shared that he had some bad experiences with tour vans who openly mocked him as if he couldn't hear them.

"They talk about you while you're standing there," Clooney said to Ellen DeGeneres before doing his best impression of a tour guide. In a deep booming voice, he said, "And if you look to your left, you'll see George Clooney who destroyed the Bat franchise for a period of time!"

The audience immediately roared with laughter and the actor added one more comment, "That's a nice dress you got there," referring to his Hail, Caesar! costume.

Clooney may not have been happy with Batman and Robin, but his career has certainly taken a great turn after the film. In 2005, he won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his performance in Syriana and he also received the Best Picture Oscar for Argo, Interestingly, Clooney had co-produced Argo with Ben Affleck, who will play the Dark Knight in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

Hail, Caesar! is directed by Joel and Ethan Coen and also stars Josh Brolin, Ralph Fiennes, Scarlett Johansson, Tilda Swinton and Channing Tatum. The film has already received positive critical response since its LA premiere and will be released nationwide on February 5.
