Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan was shooting in Gujarat for his upcoming crime drama film, Raees when the members of Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) started to create a wreak on the film sets. But now from current reports from the producer of Raees, it looks like everything is sorted out between the members of VHP and Raees production team.

It was earlier reported by Mstars News that on Khan’s 50th birthday, he talked to NDTV India and stated that in India, intolerance is growing rapidly. According to Khan, the intolerance is the biggest issue at this moment. Due to his remarks, members of VHP were seen raising slogans and even burnt many of Khan’s posters in Gujarat. The members of VHP demanded from the district collector to cancel the film’s shoot in Kutch and Ahmedabad.

Now even after facing a setback from the politicians, the schedule of Raees is still on time, courtesy of the Gujarat Government and the police department.

Raees producer, Ritesh Sidhwani recently tweeted that Raees’ shooting has resumed without any disruptions at Bhuj because of the continuous support from the government and the police.

Check out Sidhwani’s tweet:

Not only Raees, but Khan’s earlier release, Dilwale faced the same problem in Dec. 2015 when it was released. Members of the VHP even threatened to vandalize the theatre owners if they would screen Khan’s feature film.

In Raees, Khan is playing the role of a bootlegger. The film also features Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Mahira Hafeez Khan in the pivotal roles. The film is slated to release around Eid 2016.

Fans of Khan will soon see him in the double role of Gaurav and Aryan in thriller film, Fan. After that, Khan will be seen for the first time with Alia Bhatt in Gauri Shinde’s upcoming romantic film. We just hope that in future Khan will not make comments, which have a diverse effect on his feature films.
