Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, TT Games, The LEGO Group and Lucasfilm are taking George Lucas' Star Wars franchise a step further. Check out Rey (Daisy Ridley), Finn (John Boyega) and Han Solo (Harrison Ford) in LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens video game announce teaser trailer.

As we previously mentioned, the seventh installment of the Star Wars franchise is set approximately 30 years after the events of Return of the Jedi. The end of Darth Vader's reign came with a price for both our heroes and villains. Stepping in for Darth Vader, Kylo Ren (Adam Driver) is trying to fill the empty void left by The Emperor, which forces the reunion of old faces, including Han Solo (Harrison Ford) and Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill), and new ones, including Finn (Boyega) and Rey (Ridley).

Check out our 5 thoughts on Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer here:

1) It's Hilarious And Adorable!

Notice how the game developers dropped in laugh-out-loud moments throughout the trailer. Finn wakes up in the desert and his alarm clock is still ringing. The writer did a spit-take when he saw the super-duper cuddly BB-8 rolling across the sand and crashing into the sand castle.

2) My Favorite Parts Of The Movie!

The trailer recreates the live-action trailer, even the deleted scenes, short-for-shot. This critic hopes this means we'll get to play as Rey as she kicks butt to save Finn's life. The Big Boss to beat in the end has to be the Starkiller Base. If this game is for episode 7, I cannot wait for the LEGO adaptations of episode 8 and 9!

3) Lightsaber Duels!

The LEGO footage recreates the moment Kylo Ren walks out into the snowy forest and takes out his crossguard lightsaber. Notice how the game developers are able to add a sense of humor to a scary scene. Players were able to switch between characters, jumping from protagonist to antagonist. I wonder if the gamer will be able to play as Ren, so that we can use his crossguard lightsaber.

4) The LEGO Games Keep Getting Better And Better!

The Justice League was put together in Lego Batman 2: DC Super Heroes. We then explored the entire DC Universe in Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham. You gotta admit to having fun with Lego Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures. You just can't beat nostalgia and brick-building when it comes to LEGO.

5) The Millennium Falcon

My favorite part about the Lego Star Wars is how the gameplay makes you feel like you're flying the ship. In the last level of Episode 6, the gamer has to blow up the second Death Star, then fly the Millennium Falcon out of there while everything is exploding. How fast and how crazy are you as a pilot depends on the player winning the level. Does this we get to play as Poe Dameron (Oscar Isaac) when he pilots the black TIE Fighter?

LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens arrives June 28, 2016 for the PlayStation 3 and 4, PlayStation Vita, Xbox One, Xbox 360, the Wii U, the Nintendo 3DS, and PC.
