Ryan Reynolds is truly a gifted prankster. The Deadpool star has just crashed a press junket for the film Eddie the Eagle and did an interview with X-Men Origins: Wolverine costar Hugh Jackman!

Reynolds posted his interview with Jackman on his personal Youtube channel. The interview, titled "I crashed the Eddie the Eagle junket" showed the two good friends greeting each other before Reynolds started asking hilarious questions.

"Did you guys get any notes from the studio to maybe sew Eddie's mouth shut and make lasers shoot from his eyes?" Reynolds asked Jackman, alluding to Deadpool's appearance in the X-Men movie. Jackman had an excellent response.

"You know, I didn't but I thought it'd be a great idea," Jackman said. "As a story it totally makes sense."

Reynolds also asked a few fan questions, most notably one from a "Bryan Bleynolds" from Vancouver, British Columbia.

"Hugh, I heard that on X-Men: Wolverine, you had specially designed lifts put in your shoes so you'd appear taller than one of your co-stars. Is this true, or just a silly fact?" the fan allegedly asked.

Jackman didn't even blink when he answered. "It's true," he confirmed. "I did, but it was a story reason. Everything in that movie was about story and character."

Wolverine wasn't the only one Reynolds poked fun on. His other fan question came from a "Blake Lively" of New York, who was asking when Jackman was available because someone was only away for an hour for a mani-pedi. "I'm getting a mani-pedi," Reynolds said.

This isn't the first time that Reynolds has poked fun at X-Men films. The actor had previously announced that Deadpool does not exist in the same timeline as X-Men: Days of Future Past.

Deadpool is currently in theaters worldwide while Eddie the Eagle will premiere on February 26.
