Morgan Freeman has one of the most soothing voices in show business, and it's always a good idea to have the Oscar-winning actor narrating anything, so he's done his share of voice work in the past. Now, as his latest film, London Has Fallen, approaches its theater release, Google created the best tie-in ever: Freeman narrating directions on Waze!

Fulfilling everybody's dreams of being told where to go by the voice of God (or at least the man who played him in Bruce Almighty), the star is the latest celebrity voice added to Google's free service. According to E! Online, though, there's a twist: this isn't Freeman the actor narrating where you're going, but rather his character from the film.

In London Has Fallen, a sequel to the 2013 action thriller Olympus Has Fallen, Freeman plays U.S. Vice President Trumbull, so as this is a tie-in for the movie, the actor actually narrates directions in character. Even more interestingly, the character speaks to the Waze user as though he was the driver.

In other words, this is basically a feature where Freeman not only tells you how to reach your destination, but he also calls you "sir" while he does and refers to you as the U.S. president, so you'll feel both soothed by his voice and empowered because he thinks you're important.

As PC Mag reports, this is hardly the first time Waze gets a big voice to narrate addresses: in the past, other celebrities who have helped lost people get the right directions have been Stephen Colbert, Arnold Schwarzenegger and even Star Wars droid C3PO.

Freeman's voice will only be available in Waze for a limited time, and it's currently on the Android app as well as the iPhone one. To activate Freeman's voice on your iOS device, go to Settings > Sound Voice Language > Morgan Freeman; on Android, the route is Settings > Sound > Navigation Guidance > Morgan Freeman.
