Bollywood acclaimed director Kabir Khan has given the Indian fan what they all have been waiting to hear from someone. Kabir has officially stated that he would love to work in a film in which he will be able to cast Deepika Padukone and Hrithik Roshan together.

Bollywood's most sought after actress and currently the toast of the industry, Padukone has her hands full at this moment as she is shooting for her first Hollywood venture xXx: The Return Of Xander Cage with Hollywood action star Vin Diesel in Canada. On the other hand, Roshan, too, is busy with his grueling shooting sessions for Ashutosh Gowariker's historical drama, Mohenjo Daro, and Sanjay Gupta's Kaabil. What connects both the talented actors together are speculations of them doing an upcoming movie opposite each other.

According to reports published on India.com, Padukone and Roshan, who were spotted at producer-turned-director Sajid Nadiadwala's 50th birthday bash recently, set the ball of rumor rolling that the twosome might get to appear in a movie together.

If speculations are to be believed, Kabir, who last directed the touching Bajrangi Bhaijaan, will wield the baton for the untitled project. Khan, who neither declined nor gave an affirmation on the news, is busy with two films, one starring Salman in the lead and the other with Roshan as the protagonist.

Another news article that appeared in The Indian Express stated that Khan showed a keen interest in casting the two actors in lead roles in his unscripted movie. He had even approached both the A-listers, but is keeping mum until an official announcement is made.

"Who wouldn't want to work with Hrithik and Deepika. They are among the finest actors of the industry and I would love to work with them. Till I don't have a script and announce it officially nothing can be said."

Roshan, who, after his break-up with his wife of 14 years, Suzanne Khan, is currently nursing his broken leg after he was injured on the sets of Mohenjo Daro. Meanwhile, Padukone, who does not have any Bollywood project for the year 2016, is riding high on the success of two of her last year's films -- Bajirao Mastani and Piku, for which she also received a Filmfare Award for the best actress in a lead role.

If Kabir will be able to sign these two stars then it will be the first time these two celebrated stars share the screen together.
