Fans are definitely excited for the upcoming Supergirl crossover episode featuring Grant Gustin's Barry Allen from The Flash. Now that the Scarlet Speedster will be teaming up with Melissa Benoit's Kara Danvers, is it possible to see Stephen Amell's Oliver Queen heading for National City?

The Arrow star recently spoke to IGN, where he confirmed that he is interested in a possible Supergirl/Arrow crossover.

"I would love to go over to Supergirl," Amell admitted. "That would be a blast, if for no other reason than I miss shooting in Los Angeles," he added with a laugh.

Amell also discussed the possibility of adding more supernatural storylines in Arrow, especially since the introduction of Megalyn Echikunwoke as Mari McCabe aka Vixen in "Taken".

"As long as we're on the air, the more fantastical things are going to get, you know what I mean? You gotta keep pushing the envelope," he said. "I think anything that exists within the three shows -- or the four shows, as the case may be -- is in play, 100 percent. I don't think that there is anything off the table."

There have been a lot of developments in the Arrow storyline since its first season. Amell was quick to point out that the producers are responsible for the show's growth over the years.

"To be clear, I don't take credit for any of it. I think that it lies, principally, in the vision of Greg Berlanti and Marc Guggenheim and Andrew Kreisberg, but I think we've fostered a really interesting and cool and vibrant universe that has given a lot of people both in front of and behind the camera an opportunity to succeed," he said. "I'm very proud of it. I'm very proud of where we are and what we're working on."

Amell recently appeared as the older version of the Green Arrow in DC's Legends of Tomorrow. Arrow Season 4 airs on The CW every Wednesday nights while Supergirl airs on CBS on Mondays.
