WGN America continues with the premiere their new original series, Outsiders. This is the perfect opportunity to check up on Big Foster (David Morse) and Little Foster (Ryan Hurst) in Episode 1 through 5 as they try to defend their mountaintop homestead from the outside world.

As we previously mentioned, Outsiders takes place high in the vast Appalachian Mountains. The wild and criminal Farrell Clan is pitted against the outside world, which is even more corrupt than they are. The Farrell Clan have spent 200 years surviving on Shay Mountain. The Clan is up against a group of money-making investors and a small town looking to move them out as they expand. This close-knit family of anti-heroes has to protect themselves in order to preserve their way of life.

5) The Pilot Has Everything!

In Farrell Wine, check out the introduction between Hasil (Kyle Gallner)' and Sally-Ann (Christina Jackson) as a bunch of ATVs circle around them. It's love at first sight between these two. And then, there's that moment when you realize you've been rooting for the Big Bad the entire time. That moment strikes when Big Foster strangles Lady Ray Farrell (Phyllis Somerville) with his bare hands.

4) If It's A Whopping You're Asking For!

Poor Asa (Joe Anderson) just wants to accepted back into the family. But in order to do so, he has to enter a gladiator sport against Little Foster, who's ten times bigger and stronger than him. This critic would run to the hills if he had to fight someone from Sons of Anarchy! After taking a beating though, Asa manages to get the upper-hand in Doomsayer and forces Little Foster to lose control of his ATV.

3) The Love Triangle!

Messenger is where the love triangle between Asa, G'Winn (Gillian Alexy), and Little Foster takes a major turning point. After getting himself beat up for defending his Clan, Asa runs back to the mountaintop needing G'Winn's care. At that point, G'Winn starts taking Asa's shirt off. When Little Foster, returns home, he sleeps in the same bed with her. But G'Winn pretends to be sleeping, knowing what really happened before.

2) G'Winn's Such A Badass!

During Rubberneck, G'Wiinn makes the choice to marry Little Foster, even after locking her lips with Asa. In our MStars News interview, actress Gillian Alexy describes holding her own while being surrounded by so much machismo, "I am so blessed that the men playing these characters are all just beautiful sensitive intelligent human beings, and the respect and space that is created on that set for my voice as a female is there. And that is an amazing thing! Gillian Alexy is no wallflower and Gwen isn't either! And that helps a little. And that's what drew me to the character is. Yeah I'm going to get out there and hold my own, and these guys are like over a foot taller than me!

1) There Goes The Neighborhood!

First, Asa and Big Foster turn the construction site into a demolition derby before blowing everything up. Demolition ends with Asa pouring sulfuric acid into the water pipes. The unlucky corporation executive burns his face off as splashes acid all over himself. The Farrell Clan are going to war!

Outsiders continues on WGN America Tuesdays at 9pm.
