Ever since the business mogul, Donald Trump has announced that he is running for the presidency in the USA, many people have been waiting for someone to try and stop Trump's momentum. Where politicians like Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio has tried a lot to stop Trump, it looks like a fictional character is being backed to bring down the Republic frontrunner - Frank Underwood. Michael Kelly, who stars in Netflix's House of Cards as Doug Stamper, thinks that Doug and Frank could take Trump down.

It looks like, Trump would not last long in the world of Washington politics as portrayed in the hit Netflix series, House of Cards -- thanks to Doug Stamper. This is the latest take on the leading Republican candidate for the president in the USA, coming from Kelly, who was seen trying to win Frank's support back in the Season 3 of House of Cards.

Just days ahead of the premiere of Season 4 of House of Cards, in an exclusive interview with International Business Times, the 46-year-old American actor said that he does not like Trump because he is very scary for the free world.

"Donald Trump, in general, is scary as s**t. That being said, Frank and Doug would take his ass down. I don't like Donald Trump."

Season 4 of House of Cards will revolve around the tension between Frank Underwood and his wife, Claire Underwood. There are also reports that, with the stakes being raised, the biggest treat for the audience will be to see how Frank and Claire will have to face each other in the election year. Even before the premiere of Season 4, it was reported by Variety that Netflix has reportedly renewed House of Cards for a fifth season.

House of Cards returns for the fourth Season on 4 March, on Netflix.
