The world already knows that Jesse Eisenberg will be bringing to life a new incarnation of Lex Luthor in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. However, it is still unclear how the DC supervillain will manage to get Ben Affleck's Dark Knight and Henry Cavill's Man of Steel to actually hate each other in the film. Now new details about Lex have been revealed, and it looks like he has a horrifying plan to get the fight started!

Entertainment Weekly has just released its special Batman v Superman cover featuring Affleck and Cavill, and the magazine has also revealed more information about Lex's plans. It looks like the villain will orchestrate "a mass murder aimed at turning the two heavy hitters against each other." There is a possibility that the massacre will involve a loved one or two. Lex might even frame one of the superheroes of the crime.

The article also confirms what has previously been revealed in the Batman v Superman trailer, which shows that Lex procures General Zod's dead body (Michael Shannon) and performs some experiments to create a completely new villain. However, it is stated in the article that Lex will use "some Kryptonian relics left behind from the Man of Steel aftermath to cook up a cosmic mutant Frankenstein - Doomsday."

Although it has been quite obvious that both Lex and Doomsday will remain villains in Batman v Superman, there have been speculations that another DC character will also be making his debut in the film. A promotional image released by Empire features Batman standing in front of a ruined city with a massive Omega symbol. The symbol hints on the possibility that Darkseid's presence will be felt in the movie.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is directed by Zack Snyder and will finally hit theaters on March 25.
