Season 5 of Suits aired its winter finale on USA Network. In episode 14 through 16, this is the perfect opportunity to check out how Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht) and Mike Ross (Patrick J. Adams) dealt with the aftermath of Donna Paulsen (Sarah Rafferty)'s split.

As we previously mentioned, Harvey (Macht) wasn't doing so well when Donna made her decision to leave him. To make matters worse, Donna left Harvey and them became Louis Litt (Rick Hoffman)'s secretary. Though Donna has made her choice, Harvey and Louis have become bitter enemies, just when a bigger threat, Daniel Hardman (David Costabile), is planning to hit the firm with all he's got. In the aftermath though, no one could have expected the handcuffs being placed on Mike.

Check out our 5 thoughts on episodes 11 through 13 of Suits:

3) The Pretend Trial

In Self Defense, Mike and Harvey argue over who should be representing him in trial. Harvey tore Mike's former best friend, Trevor, a new one when he took the stand. Even though Harvey got someone to commit perjury, Donna screwed the whole thing up and pleaded the fifth! At his worst and best at the same time, in the pretrial, Harvey got Rachel (Meghan Markle) to admit in front of the entire firm that she had an affair.

2) The Verdict!

In Tick Tock, Mike represented himself in the courtroom as his own lawyer. Well, it turns out Mike isn't a pretty good lawyer. In fact, Mike didn't even wait for the jury to come up with a verdict. Mike went straight to Anita Gibbs (Leslie Hope) to make a deal and save the firm. Realizing it's his fault too, poor Harvey was too late to stop Mike.

1) Sex & Violence!

In the 25th Hour, knowing time was running out, Rachel and Mike had one last ride together. Those two just felt each other up in their steamy sex scene. Good bad there wasn't a wedding meant for them. After a night of passionate sex, Mike and Harvey ended up fighting each other. Mike beat up the boxer!

BONUS: The Best Directors!

Creator/showrunner Aaron Korsh sure knows how to pick the best directors for the last three episodes. Patrick J. Adams both performed on-screen and sat behind the camera as he directed Self Defense. Known as the filmmaker who made Sarah Michelle Gellar and Selma Blair kiss in Cruel Intentions, Roger Kumble directed the penultimate episode, Tick Tock.

BONUS: Series Finale?

Thank goodness there's going to be a season 6 because the 25th Hour felt like a series finale. Is the sixth season going to take place with Mike behind bars? Though Jessica, Donna and Louis have the firm, everyone else just quit. Hell, even Jack Soloff (John Pyper-Ferguson) is gone! Is it over for Pearson, Spector, and Litt?

Season 6 of Suits returns this summer on USA Network.
