Season 5 of Suits continues on USA Network after its midseason premiere. In Episode 14, will lawyers Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht) and Mike Ross (Patrick J. Adams) need to stop the Tick Tock due to the fallout from Donna Paulsen (Sarah Rafferty)?

As Mike stares at the windows, he has a plan that Harvey isn't going to like. Harvey doesn't want Mike to speak with Clifford, but it turns out he is dead. Louis Litt (Rick Hoffman) calls Gretchen (Aloma Wright) for help; he needs to know if there is a chance Mike will win the case.

In court, Mike proves he has been representing himself the entire time. Mike gets Clifford's mother on the stand and gets sympathy from her. Gibbs then tries to rattle Clifford's mother, but she yells back, "He's the only one who gave a damn about her son."

Mike has trouble with his closing, throwing notes into the fireplace. Rachel (Meghan Markle) thinks Mike should tell his story, which will win over the jury. Louis tells Jessica (Gina Torres) that Harvey is showing signs that h's losing the case. Donna wants Harvey to step in but he believes Mike is ready.

In his closing statement, Mike talks about his photographic memory; he is a fraud. He has worked day and night wasting his gift on rich clients. He promises to do better, but Gibbs doesn't believe him; he's a liar. Harvey and Mike drown out Gibbs' voice as he imagines the guilty verdict from the jury.

Harvey reminds Mike that he sees the good in people and he just needs the juror. Mike doesn't want to leave the courtroom until the jury returns. Rachel brings back food because she wants to spend her last meal with him. Jessica isn't happy leaving the case in the hands of jury.

As Harvey gets an idea for grounds for a mistrial, Mike defends a client who has no lawyer. After getting into an argument with Harvey, Donna continues defending herself against Louis. Rachel gets mad at Mike for taking a new case. Why doesn't he want to be with her? Mike is scared like she is, but he needs to do this. Rachel decides to work with hm on the case.

Harvey then plants the stages to get a mistrial. Though Gibbs tries to railroad Mike's trial, the judge doesn't rule in his favor. Mike tries to get a deal from Gibbs, but she still intends on putting him away. Donna argues with Jessica that the mistrial still leaves Mike in trouble.

Louis visits Gibbs, but his word doesn't mean anything; he has no proof. With Harvey's plan for a mistrial backfiring,  Harvey argues with Mike over what they knew in the first place. Gibbs meets with Mike and offers a 2 year prison time, unless he gives a name at the firm.

Rachel cries, pleading with Mike not to accept the terms, and have faith in himself. Harvey realize he is going to have to turn himself in. Jessica confronts Louis, who wants to protect each other. Harvey tells Donna that it's his fault, she doesn't want to lose him.

Though Louis has Harvey's confession on tape, he refuses to give it to Gibbs. Harvey is too late to sop Mike from making his last minute deal with Gibbs.
