5 Celebrity Candies In Wake of 'Doctor Strange' Actor Benedict Cumberbatch's Chocolate Bunny

Benedict Cumberbatch has just received a unique honor. No, it's not an Oscar, Emmy or Tony award, it's a chocolate bunny. Just in time for Easter, a chocolatier has put the future Doctor Strange's likeness on the popular holiday confection.

Jen Lindsey-Clark and her team at Chocolatician have put the image of the 39-year-old Sherlock actor on the candy rabbit. "It was obvious how popular Benedict Cumberbatch is... we decided it would be rather fun to make a mini rabbit version so all the die-hard Cumberfans could get a piece of him." claimed Lindsey -Clark.

The description on their website reads "A delicious Belgian chocolate rabbit with a handsome face and a tasty bottom. 400g of everyone's favourite detective. This chocolate bunny glazed with lustre dust is not just for Easter but would make a fantastic Easter gift for all the family. He will spring from his white warren box with a beautiful orange ribbon and easter bunny tag, sealed in a cellophane bag for freshness."

Each bunny is made from a silicone mold and takes roughly three hours to make. They are offered in both white and dark chocolate. Needless to say the sweet treats are being referred to as Cumberbunnies with a cost roughly $71.21.

All this comes just one year after the #Chocobatch phenomenon when the The Imitation Game Oscar nominee was made into a life size statue of pure Belgian milk chocolate. Chocolatician claims in addition to Cumberbatch, they'll be making more celebunnies. In fact, The Hobbit star's edible image could start a trend.
