CBS' 'Supergirl/The Flash’ Promo Teaser: Grant Gustin, Melissa Benoist Crossover Trailer!

CBS and the CW Network have released an all-new promo for the epic crossover between DC Comics' Supergirl and The Flash. In the upcoming episode, check out what Kara Danvers (Melissa Benoist) and Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) are up to in the teaser trailer.

As we previously mentioned, in the episode directed by Nick Gomez, from a story by Greg Berlanti and written by Andrew Kreisberg, the plot synopsis follows, "Kara gains a new ally when the lightning-fast superhero The Flash (Grant Gustin) suddenly appears from an alternate universe and helps Kara battle Siobhan, aka Silver Banshee, and Livewire in exchange for her help in finding a way to return him home."

A glossy poster was also released for audiences. The image of Superman's cousin and the scarlet speedster running side by side pays an homage to a classic DC Comics cover. In the cover, Superman and the Flash are in a race around the world to see who's the fastest.

As quoted by TV Line, Benoist teased during the Supergirl panel at PaleyFest LA, "It is the most joyous occasion to have these two superheroes together in the same place, at the same time, working together. They are both so happy with their powers and what they get to do and how they get to help people, that it's kind of infectious and exciting and upbeat and happy."

On the official Facebook page, the caption writes, "Two superheroes. One epic night. #SupergirlXTheFlash is COMING March 28! Here's what you can expect:"

Executive producer Ali Adler added that the two superheroes have "quite an adorable banter," which will annoy the hell out of Jimmy Olson (Mehcad Brooks).

Supergirl continues Mondays 8pm on CBS. The crossover episode takes place on March 28.
