The Game of Thrones Season 6 premiere date is just around the corner. The fans of epic fantasy story are eagerly waiting to see what exactly is going to happen with Jon Snow (played by Kit Harington). Is he going to live or is he going to die? This question will soon be answered, but from the recent reports, it looks like, Snow will come back to life, but he will rise as his dire wolf Ghost with the help of Melisandre (played by Carice van Houten).

The finale episode of Game of Thrones Season 5 showed how Lord Commander of Night's Watch and the bastard son of Ned Stark from Winterfell was stabbed repeatedly by his own Night's Watch brothers. It is not being speculated that he will indeed come back to life and will return for the upcoming season. But it is not simple as it looks.

In a recent interview with TV Line, Liam Cunningham, the 54-year-old Irish actor who plays the role of Ser Davos, talked about Snow's return in the show. In the interview, Cunningham stated that the world of Game of Thrones has a lot of gray areas and to move ahead in the story, they all need characters like Ser Davos, Samwell Tarly (John Bradley-West) and Snow.

"He's (Ser Davos) had to do nasty things for political expediency and execute people and stuff. So [Davos is] one of the characters that's really needed for watchers to have at least a little bit of hope in, in a sense. It's brilliantly drawn," Cunningham said.

The recently released trailer of Game of Thrones Season 6 showed one image in which Snow was riding a horse and ever since, fans started to speculate that he will be resurrected by Melisandre. The trailer also showed Ser Davos with Night's Watch men and Snow lying dead (hopefully wounded -- not dead) with his dire wolf Ghost by his side.

When talking about his character and role in Season 6, Cunnigham stated that he will be doing things which are not logical to him but since he is engaged in war and Melisandre is the only one who can help the world -- he has no choice but to go for all those things.

"He gets sucked into stuff that we've never seen him do before, against his better judgment. We will see him doing things that we haven't seen him doing before," he further stated.

Cunningham also hinted about Snow's return to the show. The Wall Street Journal reported that since Melisandre and Ser Davos has lost Stannis, in order to keep things moving, they have to work together and do something which Ser Davos finds sinful. Cunningham further stated his ongoing relationship with Melisandre.

"They're brought together by circumstance even though they're enemies."

So, it looks like, hopefully, that Ser Davos and Melisandre will team up for the first time and by her magic and his power, they will resurrect Snow from the dead and Snow will walk again but only in Ghost's body. It is being reported by Ice and Fire that Snow himself is an untrained warg like his brother, Bran Stark (played by Issac Wright) and can enter into Ghost.

GoT Season 6 is set to premiere on April 24, 2016.
