'Rock On! 2' Star Farhan Akhtar In Dating Relationship with Kalki Koechlin Already?

Amidst the Bollywood break-ups, divorce and scuffles, here comes a rumour again citing about the new love in Rock On! 2 star Farhan Akhtar's life. Keep aside the prior link-up with Wazir co-star Aditi Rao Hydari, murmurs in the B-town claim that Akhtar is dating his Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara co-star Kalki Koechlin.

Surprisingly, Akhtar is now planning to live-in with Koechlin, claims a Mid-Day report. It was just two months ago when Akhtar shared about the mutual split with his wife celebrity hair stylist Adhuna Bhabhani, after ending the 16 years of marital bond. The split was a shock to the entire fraternity and his fans. Besides, Koechlin has also divorced her husband filmmaker Anurag Kashyap after four years of marriage.

Earlier, Hydari was allegedly the reason for Akhtar's divorce. Speculations suggested about the surging proximity between the two stars. However, the buzz now seems to be false. Akhtar and Koechlin initially met during the shooting of Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara and bonded quite well on the sets. But the bonding faded after the finish of the film's shoot. However, they remained in touch.

"Now that Farhan is alone, they seem to have gotten back together not just as friends. They have been meeting each other for last couple of months."

At a recent press event, when it was asked to Akhtar why actors always end up in the midst of link-up rumors with their co-stars, Akhtar stated that people do enjoy the on-screen chemistry and get confused with between the reel and the real life. The actor was quoted by Hindustan Times as:

"Well, I really don't know why the rumours spread like fire and why the rumours have started. I guess people enjoy what they watch on screen and feel the chemistry that is happening on screen... maybe (they) confuse it with what is happening in real life."

Koechlin took to Twitter to express her views ongoing rumors.

Ignoring the speculations about his personal life, Akhtar has indulged himself in work commitments. He is currently busy shooting for musical drama Rock On! 2.The film stars Shraddha Kapoor, Purab Kohli, Prachi Desai and Arjun Rampal. The film is due for release on November 11, 2016.

On the other hand, Koechlin is currently promoting her film, Waiting in which she will be playing the role of Tara who is a social media savvy. The film has already won many applauses at Dubai International Festival and is soon going to release in theatres.
