It's been 12 years since Renée Zellweger last played the clumsy English singleton Bridget Jones in The Edge of Reason, and 2016 will mark the actress' grand return to the role! In the latest trailer for Bridget Jones's Baby, Zellweger's character finds herself pregnant and she's not really sure who the father is: ex boyfriend Mark Darcy (Colin Firth) or Patrick Dempsey's Jack Qwant!

Working Title just released the first trailer of the threequel, and it seems the entire movie will be focusing on who is the father of Bridget Jones' Baby. The first trailer for the threequel shows the ever-clumsy Bridget is still dealing with single life, and while Hugh Grant's Daniel Cleaver is out of the picture, she's still entangled in a love triangle. When she realizes she's pregnant, Bridget tells her mother (Gemma Jones) that there's a 50% chance the baby is Mark's -- to which her mother asks, in fright, whether she was involved in a three-way!

The film will revolve around the intrigue on who's the father as Bridget navigates becoming a single mom -- and the funniest bit of the trailer includes one legendary British actress playing on the idea: Emma Thompson! The Oscar winner is actually part of the cast of the film as she plays Bridget's obstetrician who congratulates her and Mark over their once-in-a-lifetime thing ... only to later give Jack the exact same speech!

Ed Sheeran is also making an appearance, and it would appear that Bridget awkwardly attempts to flirt with him and he looks pretty unimpressed.

Zellweger visited The Ellen DeGeneres Show to talk about the upcoming film, which won't premiere until the fall, and she brought the first official trailer for Bridget Jones 3 along. It was actually the first time the Oscar-winning actress was on DeGeneres' talk show, and she was pretty excited to be there, saying her whole family had congratulated her on visiting the set.

Bridget Jones' Baby will be out in theaters on September 16.
